Visit this famous and most beloved dessert cafe in Bangalore for some sinful indulgence. They have many contemporary western flavours in ice creams and cakes priced quite reasonably, compared to the other cafes in Bangalore. 

At the Art of Delight, you will find popular ice cream and some special ones too, like the red velvet ice cream which is rich in flavour. You will find chucks of the red velvet cakes along with cream cheese as well. 

Salted caramel scoop is worth relishing too! If you love sundaes, you must try Cara-meltdown, classic hot chocolate fudge, and oh they’ve got deep fried snickers sundaes which are rare to find anywhere in Bangalore. They also have it in oreo. We can’t keep calm! 

Apart from ice creams, they serve decadence mousses and cakes in jars. Quite sinful in taste, you must try the Nutella cheesecake and the Mississippi mud pie. Hands down the best desserts in a jar! Other items on the menu include thick shakes and a few savoury snacks. 

The Maras Dondurma

If you watched a lot of travel shows on TV channels like Travelex, you must have seen those ling, stretchy, chewy Turkish ice creams (dondurma). You must have wondered what they feel and taste like. Not to worry that you’ll never get to try it as it comes to Bangalore, in Koramangala. The Maras is an authentic Turkish ice cream parlour run by Mustafa, who is Turkish and wears a traditional Turkish attire. 

The fun part of visiting this dessert place is Mustafa’s trick. He won’t hand over your ice cream cone just like that. Try your hand as you might, but you won’t catch it. He will give you the cone, but there will be no scoop. Then you get the cone but snatch it with the stick. 

After a while of trolling you, he will finally hand over the ice cream to you and let you enjoy it in peace. It’ll make for a fun video recording session. 

Some of the best flavours you can try are kiwi, Saada, which is Mustafa’s special, tender coconut, caramel, and pistachio. Apart from ice creams, they also serve the Baklava, which is a famous Turkish delight, Baklava dondurma, and milkshakes.

Glen’s Bakehouse is everybody’s favourite. It’s a famous dessert cafe in Bangalore that has 4 branches now. It’s a perfect place to indulge in some high-quality dessert in a villa-like ambience. All four stores have a similar layout with thick brick walls, ambient lighting, cozy interiors that give it a homely feeling to them. It’s nice to enjoy that scene, away from the city noise. 

Coming to the food menu, there are 5 kinds of cheesecakes which cost around 200 for a piece; carrot cake, truffles, choco malt pie which sounds irresistibly delicious, the classic red velvet cake, rainbow cake and brownies. Must try the Belgium cheesecake which is rich in flavour, smooth texture and consistency. If you haven’t already swooned, you must visit and grab a bite here.

The place is renovated and converted from a house, so it has a homely and a cozy feel to it. There is seating outdoors too, so it makes for a pleasant setting to enjoy the food with Bangalore weather. 

The menu has reasonably priced items ranging from sandwiches, starters, waffles and other desserts. The desserts menu comprises red velvet cakes, brownies, truffles and coffee cakes.

Every chocolate lover must visit this cafe solely dedicated to them. India’s largest chain of the chocolate cafe has a presence all over the world. They serve some of the best natural and quality chocolate desserts. The interior colours are a mix of dark brown and white with red which reminds you of the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The chocolate here is served in many avatars – In drinks, eatables, slurpable, and munchables. If you’re up for it, try the choco rum shots. Their signature hot chocolate comes in a cuddle cup, which is a really cute oval-shaped cup. You have to hold it in both of your hands and sip on the drink. Like Joey from F.R.I.E.N.D.S would say. “It’s like little drops of heaven”. 

If you want to spice it up, go for the Belgium Chilli Chocolate. They also have a few savory items on the menu like crocques, panini, baguettes, crepes, pasta, and sandwiches. Overall, it’s a fine place for every chocoholic in the city.
